Local Empowerment Initiatives
By building grassroots communities throughout the United States, we hope to inspire our members to join forces to tackle common empowerment challenges within their own communities.
We envision GWEN@Home as the localized arm of our global efforts to enable people to share their stories and transform lives. Members also are encouraged to come together as community members, unite with friends and family to discuss solutions to the problems that face us in today’s stressful world. Think of book club-like gatherings, where the topic of discussion is empowerment and personal growth. By signing up for GWEN@Home, you gain access all sorts of resources and tools to help you lead positive change on the local front and beyond. Members will receive “digital gift boxes” each month, containing links to empowerment videos, suggestions to the “book-of-the-month” conversations, checklists of safety activities, or an outline of pertinent topics (homelessness, sex trafficking, domestic violence, education initiatives, and more). All of these materials are designed to be shared with family and friends, to inspire action by your personal network – your GWEN@Home group. It is our hope that GWEN@Home subscribers will initiate grassroots campaigns in their hometowns and extended communities. Members may choose to do a clothing, toy, or food drive, or simply share important information such as signs to look out for in their hometowns for potential human trafficking instances. You set the agenda and we arm you with the tools to take action. Downloadable music, videos, and more are offered, as well as discounts to our GWEN Studios platform where films and TV series are shared through various channels of mainstream distribution.
